This Shipping Policy outlines how Mika Lamps ("we," "us," "our") processes, fulfills, and delivers orders. By placing an order on our store, you agree to the timelines and terms below.
1. Processing & Production Timeline
Every Mika Lamp is hand-poured and hand-crafted to order, which means production takes real time - we don't keep pre-made inventory sitting on a shelf. Here's what to expect:
- Order Processing & Quality Check: 2-3 business days
- Hand-Pouring & Curing: up to 8 business days
- Shipping & Delivery: 5-14 business days
Total Estimated Delivery: 15-25 business days from the date your order is placed. Because each lamp is made individually and cured by hand, this window is a normal part of our process rather than a delay, and falling within it isn't grounds for a refund request.
2. Shipping Carriers
We ship orders via trusted, trackable carriers within the United States, primarily USPS, FedEx, and UPS, depending on your location and the most efficient route available.
3. Order Tracking
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. We recommend tracking your order through our Track Your Order page (powered by 17TRACK) for the most accurate, real-time updates.
Please note: it's common for tracking to show little to no movement for a few days while your package transfers between carrier facilities. This is normal and doesn't mean your order is lost.
4. Address Changes
If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us at mikalamps.info@gmail.com within 12 hours of placing your order. Once an order has entered production or shipped, we're unable to redirect it, and any changes will need to go through the carrier directly.
5. Undeliverable or Returned Packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we'll reach out to arrange reshipment, and any additional shipping costs to redeliver the item will be the customer's responsibility.
6. Delivered Status & Lost Packages
If a carrier marks your package as "Delivered," it's considered successfully delivered to the address provided. Mika Lamps isn't responsible for packages stolen after delivery or taken from a shared/communal space, though we're always happy to help you figure out next steps.
A package is only considered lost in transit if there's been no tracking movement for more than 30 business days from the ship date. Before that point, we ask for a little patience while it makes its way through the shipping network.
7. Delays
While we do everything we can to get your lamp to you on time, occasional delays can happen due to high demand, weather, or events outside our control. If your order is running behind, reach out to us at mikalamps.info@gmail.com and we'll look into it right away.
8. Force Majeure
Mika Lamps isn't liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, carrier disruptions, severe weather, or supply chain interruptions. In these situations, we'll do our best to get your order to you as quickly as conditions allow.
9. Lost or Damaged Items
If your package arrives damaged, or is confirmed lost in transit under the terms above, contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. As always, we'll send a free replacement or issue a full refund - no questions asked.
